In 1966, in San Francisco there was a group of superhumans led by chemist Carrick Masterson, whose unique formulation NF-7, gave these people an incredible force. Calling themselves egalitarians, this became a united front against street crime and corruption, in defense of the city against any attack. They were always ready to help, asking nothing in return.
