The young Locke boy is dying. Even the fix-it key/cabinet can't repair the damage in his brain. His father is disconsolate knowing his son won't live much longer. So he fashions a new key, the behind-the-scenes key and commissions a special hot-air balloon. When the balloon and the key are done, he takes his son on a special, magical, balloon ride, that takes him to the behind-the-scenes of the world on the moon where the poor dying boy gets to meet long-dead family members and see how the world "works" from behind the scenes...
