Warlord of Mars vol.4 (TPB)
Edgar Rice Burroughs nice that made an invaluable contribution to the development of science fiction (and in fact gave her a push in the decades ahead) and created the famous characters such as Tarzan, writing about it about 40 books. In addition to a rather impressive series of this "child of the jungle," Burrows known so-called Martian series, on which he based this comic. The first book in this series, as well as his first job on the writers' career was "Princess of Mars" (or "Daughter of thousands Jeddah", as they have to translate), which tells of the adventures of Earthman John Carter and, in fact, half-naked princess-Marsianka Dei Toris. John, a former Confederate soldier during the Civil War in America, gets to Mars, which makes Deyu, gaining fame as a soldier, and so on. Of course, all the stories of that time were rather naive, and the reader is not so exacting. In addition, detailed writing of the world and life of Mars Burroughs appears much later (based on scientific hypotheses of the time, it is no wonder that the NF). Because publisher Dynamite made some adjustments to plot them adaptable. Not so much change as additions to us, now, it was interesting chitatoglyadet this story.
