In Volume 1 of Ruined, Andrew and Catherine become acquainted with each other, but they may have to move more slowly than anticipated...

The comic begins with Arseface and a homeless man sitting on a bench. The homeless man vomits and starts up his bong when he looks over to see Arseface, he vomits again and asks what happened. At that point, Arseface tells a tragic story of an abusive father, an alcholic mother and a best friend with no good intentions.
