В«Y: The Last ManВ» - a post-apocalyptic sci-fi comic Brian Vaughan and Pia Guerra, unpublished publishing В«VertigoВ» since 2002. The series tells the story of a single man, survived the apparent death of every male mammal [en] in the world. A source of inspiration for the creators of the episode served as a В«Consider Her WaysВ» 1964 TV series "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", where the disease also kills all the men in the world and the matriarchal society takes shape. Comic has 60 issues, published В«VertigoВ» and later collected in 10 volumes of the collection of publications (as well as in 5 volumes format lux). Covers to produce a series of initially drew Jay Gee Jones and Massimo Karnivale. The series received five Eisner Awards.
