Blue Beetle (Volume 1) 1-60 series

The very first Blue Beetle was Dan Garrett , the character of the Golden Age of comics , the son of a policeman killed a criminal. Version of the character represented by the publisher Fox Feature Syndicate, was first introduced in Mystery Men Comics в„– 1 ( August 1939 ) and shortly thereafter got his own series , which lasted 60 issues . Fox Feature Syndicate even sponsored a "Day of the Blue Beetle" at the World 's Fair in New York in 1940 , held on August 7 at 10:30 am.
