Dark Avengers was a hit-series on the Avengers educated mind of Norman Osborn. It featured villains (most of them former team member of lightning), which took over the identity of famous heroes, while still remaining their own evil selves. The team was supported by the inelegance agency HAMMER Norman Osborn. The series was a hit, but it only lasted for the length of the ?«Dark Reign" era, a total of 16 issues and one annual. In the latest issue of the second "The New Avengers" series, a new team of Dark Avengers is born.
