After his family is killed by a serial killer Kron Stone, Jake Gallows outraged when Crone released with little more than a slap on the wrist because of his social status. Jake disappointed in the legal system of his era, and then uses the war journal of Frank Castle as his inspiration, taking the mantle of The Punisher.
