Freedom Fighters (Volume 2) 1-9 series

In a parallel world, the peoples of the Earth-2 were involved in World War II and its allies are losing the war against Hitler coalition countries. Uncle Sam to help the Earth-2 employs six heroes: Hourman, Invisible Hood, Magno the Magnetic Man, Miss America, Neon the Unknown, and Red Torpedo. Calling themselves freedom fighters, they went to Earth-2 to help President Franklin Roosevelt who sent a call for help. Over the years, various incarnations of Freedom Fighters will defend U.S. soil.
